cash box not locking in

cash box not locking in when inserted...works fine if you hold it in....thinking maybe lock mechanism at back ..any help appreciated

Everything looks good. The little latch in the back has a spring, they can come loose, but yours looks good as the latch is being held up. The two wear tracks on the bottom appear to be buckling up a little a bit but they should lay down when box is inserted.
Check the back of the box at the hole where the latch goes in. There is a plastic spring loaded tab that drops down to release the box and stays up and out of the way when the box is in place. Other than that I don't see anything wrong.


Cash boxes not latching in is a common problem, most times it takes a few tries and sometimes with a little force. I would consider a Velcro strap at the front to hold it in if all else fails.


Also, somewhere in this Universal section should be a thread on jumpering the cashbox switches in the back if your interested.
