Hello, this is my first time visiting here. I am working on a Kortek KT-LS1904E. The Original problem was Black Out in game. I replaced all of the SMT caps on the AD board, and the 2 Radial Electrolytics "tack" mounted on the Inverter board.
I applied 12Vdc on my bench just to see if it would power up with the "no signal" red screen and I get 2 different outcomes with 2 different power supplies. First with my BK precision "benchtop" DC power supply set at 12V, the power supply flicks on and off quickly.
I thought it might be a problem with the supply, so I happened to have the 12V half of a Konami power supply (TDK Lambda 26936) lying around so I rigged it up to power the monitor. The monitor comes on for a second, then blanks out one time and stays blank. There is no power LED indicator on the AD board, but there is one on the Touch Screen board that comes on and stays on. I have both 12v and 5V on the AD and Inverter boards, and the fuses are good. I'm beginning to think it might be one or more of the CCFL's, or the T-Con board. Neither of those sounds likely to me though, because when it does display the red "no signal" screen, (for a split second) the image is sharp, clear and bright.
Anyone have any experience with this symptom?
Thank you!
