Omega Products Double Up Video Poker problem

Hi guys.  I just got an old Omega Products Double Up Video Poker machine running.  Well it was until I pressed a button in the cabinet and the game went into a service mode.  Now I cannot get it out of service mode and back to the game.  There are 2 buttons (red and black) inside and a reset credit button on one side, but even turning the game off then on does not get it out of service mode.  Anyone got any idea on this?  Thanks.

Update on progress with the machine. I was able to get the machine out of the service mode by adding an in-line micro switch between the rechargeable battery and the PCB, keeping the switch in NC position.  Then to get the gsme out of service mode, all I have to do is press the switch to NO the contacts.

To exit test/service mode press discard/hold 1, 2, and 3
