what would be the theme for a SS6287

Could it definitely be a Triple Diamond or is it for some other theme?
I think I am being snowballed by a customer.

They say they received their repaired board from us but the picture of the board they got shows excessive battery damage which has eaten up many components on the board including the tray and transformer.
AND the burst battery shown in the picture is a brand I have never used.

I see a SS6287 on the game chip in the picture they sent me and they say the board came out of their a 3x diamond S Plus slot.

Then it matches. Apparently the board we sent from Las Vegas to Florida had an internal explosion because the battery leaked.

Mark (Stayoutofthehunker) is shipping me some parts.
Let’s hope they don’t do the same.

I’m in Canada and anytime I ship with Purolator or UPS they make us declare if the product contains a battery.
This is obvious with a laptop but tons of electronics have batteries onboard and you often just don’t know.
If I click yes they usually decline air shipping.

Do you have a repair shop, I am looking to add to my list of known slot shops and when I get contacted by a Canadian needing repairs I have no Canadian shop listed.

I am probably the last person you want with a hot soldering rod - lol.
Sure I can change a battery but it won't be pretty.

For Slot specific repairs Wayne in Toronto (across the country from me) would be your best bet.

There is a fellow that I know in Calgary that does board level repairs for pinballs and I can put you in touch with him, but I don't believe he has much (if any) slot experience.
