Games Bible has Multiple SS Chip Program Numbers??

I have a 1-Line, 5-coin 5TP machine with a chip set to 90%, and am looking to acquire a 92% chip to loosen the game a bit.


I took a look at the Games Bible and it shows multiple versions of both the 90% chip and the 92% chip.


Is SS0294 superior/inferior to SS7721?


Do I have to replace like with like (ie SS0287 must be replaced by SS0294, SS7722 with SS7721)?


Or are they identical??

Sometimes they use different strips.  What is your current chip?  We can then look up the PAR file to see which chips are compatible with your strips.  Honestly though, you will not notice much of a difference between a 90% chip and a 92% chip.  The difference is going to be in the low to middle pays, and not significant.  Just letting you know ahead of time so you are not disappointed when you can't tell you have a new chip.

I will try to find out. Also, my machine has the jackpot set to 10k but the bible says 20k? Does this mean if I change the chip it will go default to a 20k jackpot?
