Just a general question about the accounting on any game
« on: July 30, 2021, 06:40:24 PM »
So, i was curious, because I'm fairly new to slot restoration and a lot of the particulars about slots. Is it possible for the financial information to be inaccurate due to a malfunction, or anything else of the like? For instance, could i put $40 in a machine and cashout $100, but the accounting records state incorrectly that i put in $80, and didn't cashout at all, or something similar? If so, what kind of problem could that be (im sure there could be many,if possible) in regards to the game? Thanks in advance!  -KC

I don't really know anything at all about the accounting systems. But what I do know about the government regulations for slot machines.... I'm going to go out on a limb and say - I don't think there is much of a chance anything would be wrong with the way the accounting is/was setup, and the accuracy of said system.

I am pretty sure you know for home use it is not required. If you want to know how your machine is doing over time you can check. If there may be some other reason you want to be sure it is accurate, I think you can take what it says to the bank and be pretty confident it is correct.

Just my 2 cents.

You can fix almost any electronic device by replacing the aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
