Issues with S2000 - Emerald Rose Game - Netplex error
« on: August 29, 2018, 10:36:16 PM »
A little background - I am new owner of 2 games.  I am new to slot machine ownership.  One is an S+ Triple Diamond Deluxe and the other is a S2000 Emerald Rose.  Neither was functioning when I purchased from an individual.  I was able to get the S+ up and running, it was throwing a 3300 code and the knife needed some work.

However, the S2000 is being a little more difficult.  I am getting the Netplex Display Link Down message.

Some various things I have done:  Reseated the power supply behind the reels.  Pulled the MPU and verified voltage on both batteries.  The coin battery was recently replaced by the previous owner.  Both batteries read right over 3.0 volts.  The green battery is starting to leak some but isn't horrible.

What happens when I turn the unit on - the bill validator cycles and then nothing.  I see the Netplex error message at this time.  I was able to get the game at one point to throw a RAM error message.  I had researched to turn the key several times and hold the Test button for 2-3 seconds.  The game then appeared as though it was going to play, however when I tried to put coin in, it just dropped right through and didn't accept it.  The only button that would work or make noise was the cash out button at that time.  The reels spun before that during setup/boot up.

I have a 1270 enhanced board.

Trying to determine other troubleshooting measures or what I should do next.  Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much!
