That is the wrong comparitor for that machine. You need an CC-16D. The CC-16D a much older comparitor.
Cannot remember the wiring harness needed. On the road right now.
Harness was three wire I believe, yellow, purple, and black wire. The connector itself was 4-pin, as I remember.

Not sure what that board is??

Sorry for the slow replies, on the road traveling right now.
The REV or revision number doesn't mean anything a CC16-D should work.

Maybe someone else can chime in on the three wire locations as it attaches to the comparitor.

I may have that info with me in another laptop, will take a look and get back.

That game is the only respin game Universal made. I see by the DBV yours has the 8800 mpu board.

Understand I have been without slots going on 4 years now. Working from memory. So reading these old posts refreshes my memory too!!

Looks like blue wire at bottom of six pin on comparitor and velvet (32v dc) two pins above the blue. (Or 4th pin down from top) Black not used.

If you need a Universal Manual pm me with a email address and I'll send you one in pdf.

Oh, and the CC-16 D needs to be 24v. There were 12v CC16's but I believe they were labeled 12v on the front.

Once you get the comparitor wired up you can test it by opening the door, pulling out the cherry switches at top right hand corner of machine, and then satisfy the door lock optic by either locking it or just blocking the optic. (The mpu now believes the door is closed and locked)

At this point the INCERT COIN light should be flashing on front of door. (Provided the bulb is not burnt out) And when INCERT COIN light is flashing the comparitor power light should be on. (The mpu closes the ground to the comparitor through that blue wire) Incert the coins, 3 I believe for Phantom Spin, and after the third coin the INCERT COIN light should shutoff and the comparitor power light should go out. (The mpu opens the ground on the blue wire that shuts off the comparitor).

With door open you can verify all is working properly.

Yes there is a push button reset. On the 8800 board it is tiny. At the bottom middle of the mpu cage there is a round hole about the size of a quarter.
With machine off put a finger in there and push in and hold in that tiny button. Turn the machine on with other hand and hold button for about 3 secs and release.

Chances are your dollar bill accepter will not work and throw off errors. If it hasn't already been disabled.
