Thanks, I am surprised I didn't already light myself up :) I was able to reduce the video size, super grainy, turn up the volume to hear the struggle. thanks again

There is no video showing. It's only 49kb size. You need to post it on YOUTUBE, then put the link here.

Hi all, I am having a problem with an 18.03 OS card and getting a game to load, and I am wondering if it's the OS image causing issues. Does anyone have a cheap source for a H18.01 OS I can buy? I've found them for $50, but I really am not too sure this is going to fix anything, just want a cheap test to rule out the cause of my BB3 issue.

thanks
Steve

Ron has retired from the slot hobby and hasn't been on since 2022, so you probably won't get a reply to your post unless maybe someone else has had that same issue.  If replying to an old post like this it's really best if you find out when the original poster(OP) has last logged on.  You can do that by clicking on their name.  If it's been a long time then start your own topic.

Ya, game works great, all except the Gamefield touchscreen is showing proper vertical calibration marks, but is actually set to be horizontally formatted.

I have an actual Gamefield touchscreen from Ceronix, so it should have a "portrait" mode setup touch controller so the touchscreen is in alignment with a vertical video screen.
Alas, it isn't.  And I don't even know where to start about getting the touch controller to align as it should.  Especially when it's an actual Gamefield touchscreen...

I have no idea if it's a screwup by Ceronix and hardcoded in the touch controller, or if it's a jumper or setting somewhere, but I've not been able to find any info on how it would be done.
If it is a setting hardcoded by Ceronix, then screen goes back so they do it right!  As all Gamefield touchscreens are supposed to be in "portrait" mode for the touch controller.

Apparently it would be easy to fix if it was just a plain old Linux machine.  lol

Iron man S85E-000-1020 is listed as H18.02.  There were 3 versions of Iron Man, 1000, 1010 and 1020.  You have the  last version of that game.

I had that game playing  on my converted BB2 with a NEC 32 up top and a Kortek multires below.  The game set up fine and  played great until I hit the pick bonus.  The tocuh screen then went dead.  Also was using the NBOT 3-2010 BIOS.  Typical of the GF games It always reverts to max bet but that was  ok.

Thanks for the reply.  Apparently I was not waiting long enough.  As I was taking a picture of the call attendant screen and compressing it, the message switched to prompts to setup the machine.   See attached.

So it seems that I am ok now there.  I just need the actual touch screen to work now.  I have dropped it off with a local shop in hopes that they can repair it.   Fingers crossed...

Have an Alpha that colors would vary with red & green tint in color on monitor. Switch all cables, monitor, etc. Found problem. The MPU had
up & down play. tweaked the tray that MPU slides in to make it tighter. Problem solved.
Thought this might help someone if they run into this problem.
Ford

Can you share how you tweaked the tray, I've tried and I still get the occasional color flicker/changing
