Alpha 2 194 Bios Chip AT25DF641-S3H 64Mb Serial Flash Chip

I'm looking for a bios chip for an alpha 2 CPU.


It' the 194 bios that must be 64Mb.


I bought a boner hacked Alpha 2 cpu on fleeBay and need this to see how much money I lost.

How do you know you need a flash chip?  Does the mpu not boot?

It was missing when I got the MPU and it doesn't boot.   My last hope is to find that bios chip and see if that helps.

Just so you know a 194 and down will work as long as you have the proper install card, It will "burn" a say 183 into a 194 etc. in the mpu.  You would be better off just getting the 194 to check your box with.  A lot of these out there were missing the bios, jurist. and hard drives.  A 231 bios will not work.  You can however bump a 194 bios to a 227 and play all 231 based games.  Auido jacks in front-194 box, no audio jacks-231 box.
