igt s plus hopper question and coin optics question

ok so i bought a bunch of parts machines im going to restore.a few where dollar machines.i was told all i need to replace in the hopper is the pin wheel to change to quarters. 2 of them look like that's not a problem the other hopper pin wheel looks like a bowling ball type with big holes not a flat plate can it also be converted.  the 2 nd  question coin optics will the dollar one's work for quarters or do i need to change them.thanks you   p.s pic is of the flat plate type hoppers i have.the other one i cant get a good pic of the plate with out taking it all apart

you need to change the smaller wheel, (shelf wheel)  ans readjust the knife.  the dollar optics will work, however on occasion a coin will not establish a credit,  on the dollar machines you will have to replace the coin in head and cc-33 for a cc-16.

as for the "hollyfield" hopper  yhose cannot be converted, keep them for parts, motor, optics etc.

I have all those parts you need.
