Can't get standard validation setting

I'm trying to set up a alpha to print tickets (I have done this many times with no problem) I can't get the standard validation to come up in settings. ( I get, system, enhanced, and bally extended)  I'm using a generic no limit chip from JJ slots. I installed the chip in another machine I have and set it up no problem so I installed it in the problem machine and same issue so I would say the chip is good. I have tried swapping the cpu, operating system and the eprom all with the same results.
Any idea what I'm missing?

Are you using a Tito system or just want to print tickets and not validate them.  Tito should be set to System.

No I'm not using a tito, Just want the machine to be able to print tickets.

I'm not familiar with Bally and a no limit chip my be the same as the jurisdiction chip so you might be better off ignoring me here :-). That said, I had the same issue on both my WMS that came off the floor from Vegas casino's and I had to swap the jurisdiction chip to something other than Nevada.  I went with Mississippi jurisdiction chips, since for WMS it has the added bonus of turning off the clickers.

Yes the no limit chip is a jurisdiction chip, it allows you to set the limits as high as you want and activate the printer, After way to much time I think I have found the problem. With the AVOS00000336-13 card in the machine it won't activate the printer. When I put in the AVOS00000336-05 card I get the standard validation and the printer works as it should. I tried it in two machines and it worked.
So I guess its time to order some 05 cards.
