What Keychip do I need for my Gameking 6.2?

Hi all. I have a Gameking 6.2 and my keychip that I have has a leg broke... (these things are a pain to put in!)

The chip I have says Key28 but I think when I put it in it read something different... I could be wrong though. I just want to make sure I order the right chip the first time. I found a guy on Ebay that has them for sale, hope they are good.

That's a 044 platform.  You need Key 28.

yes 28 key chip o44 board buy a socket and   repair  leg on  key chip    and  put key in socket

Buy a low profile zif socket, works great and no more problems with broken or bent legs on chips.

Found this and ordered some.  These are awesome, put them in both my 044 boards, now I don't feel like i'm going to snap the board in half when using the chip extractor. 


For those of you that are penny pinchers, I searched, and Jameco is the only vendor that sells the nice low-profile one.  Ebay has others for much cheaper, but I don't know if they'll fit, they look much thicker.

While your setting up your GK 6.x here is a little trick I do with mine.
I have done this on 3802/3902/044 and now a AVP 6.2.
When setting up "Deuces Wild", set up a progressive for "4 of a kind".
I set mine to $30,000. This allows you to have a huge amount of credits on the machine.
It's VERY easy to hit a 4 of a kind on that game.
