Alpha 1 Bally games

thanks to the members of the forum, Rick has been very helpful. Thank God I'm a Nuclear Physicist I couldn't make it as a slot machine repair tech.


I am looking to change the game on my wife's Bally Alpha 1 M9000. I went to the Bally tech site and under game search selected M9000 in the cabinet category, I was told those won't work. Here's a screen shot. Any tips to see what will play on my machine?

Most of these games will work.  Some are V32 games (Vertical cabinet with a 32 inch screen) so you have to google the game name and look at the photos to see if it will work on your cabinet.  This list was taken from the Mississippi gaming commission's approved firmware list.  If you see a game on e-bay, the key is to look for games that start with AVG (Alpha Video Game).  Bally later changed their nomenclature to a six digit number with a letter, which makes it impossible to tell if it will work, unless you know what the title is.

Be careful relying on Bally's website to see what games will play on your machine. It's not always correct.
