« on: December 24, 2018, 07:17:02 AM »

Anyhow, Id like to use the bell in the scarp one in my S+ slant top. Ive heard it can be done and I know how to enable it, where would a guy wire it to? Man this got small, holy crap.

Your post was a bit unclear - Are you trying to wire the S+ bell into a Bally ? or make it work on the S+

Enabling a Bell on a S+ can be done for all wins or just the main jackpot, its an option in the setup.
Post your game chip number as the option is specific to the PSR.

If you need to know how to get the game chip number - go to the NLG home page, see Ricks FAQs (bottom  right hand page) and there he steps you through how to display the chip number in the winners paid window.
There is also Rons simplified S+ PSR sheet in the downloads section that has most options for the common chips.

If you can't afford to lose you can't afford to win.

Id like to put the bell in the S+. The bell came out of a bally 956. game chip in it now is 8P1048,  Wild Diamonds. Where Would the bell wire to is what im asking? Or isn't it a good idea to do at all? I also have a game chip that's a SP731 that was used with my Balloon Bars reel chip SS3997 so game info is read off the reel chips?  Also got one when I ordered my ram clear and BV on/off chips. Is that a better chip to use for the game?

There is a Molex connector along the back that the bell plugs into. If you grab a copy of the S* manual from our downloads section it’s pretty straight forward. I can’t remember if the bell needs to be 12 or 24 volts but it’s in the manual. The options are to ring the bell only on top awards or on all wins. All wins will soon drive you nuts.

One fellow installed a relay where the bell went and used it to trigger the button a on a kids toy. It was a sound box of some sort but in any case was much more pleasant than the bell.

You can download Rons simplified options sheet (excel file) out of the downloads and that will have the options for enabling the Bell.
