Hello,

I got a s2000 king of the grill video slot machine.

It is giving me a meter error on it....

How can i clear this error???

I had this once on an S2000 and it ended up being a shorted display that wrecked an IO card. Have you tried swapping any parts yet?

I havent tryed swaping out parts...

I realy dont have any s2000 parts..

I deal in s plus and some older ballys machines.

is this a s2000 or a i-game do you know?

The video makes it an Igame. Maybe start with a little history of what led up to the current problem and check what Lind of board layout you have inside the machine

I bought it off of craigs list.

the lady said that it was working until she removed the

cash box then when she tryed to put it back in it through the error of meters disconnected and never worked again.

What is the batter voltage on these battery?

Is there 1 or 2 batterys on this machine?

is there a I game manual out there???

I cant seem to find one..

Ok, IGT slot machine 101....battery MUST be 2.8v or more. Anything under 2.9 is suspect.

Dr.Freeze....you have been around here a day or two..,,you should have already looked in the NLG File System and know the answer to "Is there an I Game manual out there?".....

And just a side note...shove the cash box in all the way!!!

Yes i know about the voltage..

Just asking a couple simple questions because evrey slot machine is different...

S+ are 3.6v on the battery..... Bally has 3.6v batterys

There is no manual on this site for the I-GAME...[/big]

Yes, they are all very similar..IGT is IGT...battery? Go 3.0v or higher, anything 2.8 or less gives faulty errors. Given the examples you gave, not EVERY slot machine is different, tell ya what, go for a solid 3.0v on every IGT or Bally machine and you'll be set.

I know you've been on here awhile, and I apologize if there is no manual. If you have read other IGT manuals, you will know that they will tell you little to nothing on troubleshooting this kind of thing.

Pull and re-install door (especially) and cabinets I/O cards. Focus on what the last movement was on the machine! She pulled the cash box? Retrace to the last known working moment.

i have opend and closed the door,,,

I have checked all the cherry switches....

the I/O BOARD on the door the LEDS LIGHTS UP.

1 of the I/O boards in the cabnent leds light up and the other

I/O board in the cabnent dose not light up the leds...

So im thinking that I/O board that dose not light up id a bad I/O board...

isn't that game a ac slot conversion? , check io boards make sure they are tight , did it ever work?

You're right bestbuy, there's one on eBay. Appears to be based on an Igame platform. IO card is the likely culprit as the Igame doesn't use the traditional credit meters that the S2000 does.

Should have it next week some time...

Can't see the whole machine of course, but King of the Grill was an AC Coin game wasn't it? It's video, so it falls more to the I-Game side than a standard S2000. I would treat it as an I-Game...

The meter disconnect should be easy enough, as I know we've seen that before, but the Bonus Device errors are strictly related to games made by AC Coin (it is an IGT machine, with AC Coin game and bonus devices installed). I can't help you there at all, but I know a few of our members have or have had AC Coin games.

Did this game work for you in the past, or did you just install it?
If it is not in the original AC coin cabinet/set up, it may not be compatible with a regular igame set up.
It seems like people have had problems with these before.
