Does your GK Machine door close gently ?
« on: January 26, 2015, 09:48:23 PM »
Question- Does your GK Machine door close gently ?
My answer - Not at all , but it does close.
I have the very common Game King Plus 19" Upright Cabinet and this may seem trivial, but to close the machine door and engage the locking bar assembly requires that you slam it - not a "pissed off" type of slam - but close!  Is this a just due to the normal wear on the hinges.

Most likely, but IGT cabinets tend to be a little flimsy to, so they sometimes "lean" a little bit. If I take my coin tray off on my S2000's I can't close the door because they lean so bad without that extra stability

I broke the upper and lower lock tabs off the door and it closes and locks like a dream now.
