Yes, correct, each bulb has one wire cut off each side.  Maybe that is not necessary and causing the problem?  I was just trying to be cautious and not fry any I/O boards, but sounds like maybe these are okay with all four contact legs on these LED's

It depends on the machine model and type of lighting lamp socket used. Some owners snip the leads just to be safe that the LED won't cause a problem, nobody wants a burned I/O board.

I don't think there is any problem using a T 3 1/4 12V LED with leads on both sides in slot machines if the machine supplies 12V (+/- 2V) to the lamp. If it was my machine I would go back to one that isn't cut. I think there is a positive side when using them in an IGT backlit reel though.

Mine took 6 days from NY to 3 states away. I have seen some button switches that have 4 contacts for the bulb and some with only 2 contacts. What is that all about?

I believe there is a difference in the T 1 3/4 sockets depending on the socket color.
