Disconnecting Cash Out Button
« on: March 22, 2015, 06:15:41 PM »
Anyone know the best way to disconnect the Cash Out button on a S2000?  Machine is a gift for my father in law with early dimentia, and prefer to disable button..

I think there are 4 connections?

Thanks in advance.

Just pull the lamp section out as if you gona put in a new bulb and leave it loose in the button and will stay lit but the button won't work. They can be tight to pull out but just wiggle it firmly and it should pop out.
If it ain't broke.....Stop trying to fix it.

Found a you tube on replacing the bulbs.  Thanks for the instructions on how to address!

JK,
I tried the suggested way & it works but found that I like to disconnect the yellow wire better. It serves the same purpose & keeps the bulb or LED in the button burning bright instead of just hanging.
Quality doesn't cost. It pays.

Thanks RB.  Yeah it looks really tight in there.   Might go with your idea and cover connector with a little electrical tape.

Thanks for the suggestion.
