SWAP DVB-200 TO WBA-12SS

How hard is it to upgrade to a wba-12ss on my s+ machine. Do I only need the head and transport or do I need a new cash box and wiring too?

You'll need the whole shebang, but it's not really difficult. You will need the entire housing, cash can, head and transport, harness, and power supply (I think that's all). If you post a WTB in the Classifieds, someone may have it.

If you're going to do a 12 you could do a 13ss. 12 is a flashed chip and 13 is an eprom. Make sure if you go with a flashed chip it offers the latest version so it will take everything but the new colored $100. I see you can't wtb on here as you're not a contributing member, but for a contribution you can post and probably get a better price than e-bay. I know CVslots carry most if not all parts and so do some of the other vendors. The harness for the 12 will also fit the 13 that gives 4-way bill acceptance. What I'd do if it was me.

Looks like the unit was purchased already off eBay from WW Gaming ... Odd thing is I think I actually made this sale for them, even though I would have been less than half price of what they were selling same item for if asked, but I was only asked for info and a chip.

Hey Jim, This is Lee. I spoke to you on the phone about my problem and also about a video slot machine. Wish I had have asked about a price at the same time. I guess I blew it this time but I will be getting back to you. My lack of patience got the best of me this time and got it on ebay. Did your price include all the stuff as the one I got on ebay?

Well, Yes but actually more. Correct stuff and several new parts for the $225.  Heck for the $260 you could have just got a complete S-2000 machine

I just thought you wanted to update your unit you had and told the least cost way was to change the chip for $15
