Lost my keys !?

Lost my keys for my S+.   Can I drill the lock out or what do you guys suggest?Thanks,KAD

If you installed the lock yourself, you can contact whoever you bought your lock from and they MAY have a duplicate. Otherwise, get out the drill...a n lock is only $10-14. Not the worst thing that could happen.

Is the belly door locked too? If not you can probably access the cam thru there & remove the nut. It will be tedious but possible. If it's a cheap lock drilling is not bad but some high security locks are a pain to drill. You might burn thru a few drill bits & be careful not to break one off in the lock.

If you machine has a bill validator then use a big flat bladed screw driver, go down the right hand side of the bezel (in between the bezel on the bill validator and the one on the door) you can move the bill validator far enough to get in. Then angle it to the side of the door. Judge the distance to where the lock is and aim just below it. When your in place twist the screw driver and if the screw driver is big enough you can bend the locking bar just just far enough so that with a little force you can push the sliding bar up far enough to open the door. Granted you do risk slight damage to the plastics but i have done loads like this was and never actually broken one and it a lot quicker than drilling. If you do go the drilling route then just make sure your central on the center of the barrel and start with a small drill bit then work your way up making sure you drill straight. If you hit the rollers in the barrel they can cause the drill bit to snap and then your in trouble.
