044 - Game King 5.0 - Using Thermal Printer VS Handpay

Hello slot guru's.


Now that my open door issues are resolved, I've now moved on to trying to get my thermal printer up and going.  I've looked a various posts, inactivated my coin hopper, enabled the printer and can even get it print out test tickets through diagnostic menu.  The problem is that whenever I hit the cashout button, it always requires me to do a hand pay and a ticket is not generated.  From what I can tell the limits are all good, well above the amount of the tickets that I'm trying to create ($5.00).


Is there any cheat sheet or guide out there that shows how you need to set things up so that a ticket will print vs a hand pay?  I will probably do TITO at some point, but for right now I just want the option of being able to have a ticket print.  If needed I can take some pics of my settings and post to the site, but thought there might be something out there already that I simply had not run across in my searches.

You need to set SAS correctly.  Set validation to standard and it should print out the tickets during cash out.  I wrote a guide on setting up TITO for 044 games, follow the steps, but instead of selecting SAS System Validation, select SAS Standard Validation.

Thanks Rick,

You must have some mind reading going on.  I used that write up to set all my values, but hadn't corrected for the lack of TITO.   The change is made and all is good now!
