WMS BB1 Vid Handle mech question..

Can a BB1 Vid machine have a handle mech added and be fully functional? There is a 'handle test' in the menu.., blanking plate where it can be installed, and all the handle parts (mech, wiring, etc) are available to use from a stepper machine.

I think I read a post about someone doing this quite some time ago, but can't find the post.

I was thinking about this very same thing the other day.  I think it would be cool if video slots had handles!

Right.    I assume it would work no prob.. OEM like a stepper, It is just a 'repeat bet' trigger. Hopefully someone knows fo sho!

I know I converted a Video from a reel. No reason it should not work, as there is no difference in backplane, other hardware, etc. As long as you have all original handle parts, harness, etc, it should work, and act like a Spin button.

Exactly what I'm thinking, Flex.. 

But would like to hear if someone has tried. Like, would the solenoid stay energized while you have credits on the machine? How would that work out?

On my Bluebird 2, it came with a handle. It does not work with video only titles, however, when you put the transmissive reels in the machine it works. So the game has to activate the handle.


I know on Bally Alphas, if you load up a video title on an S9E, the handle will work. WMS is more picky I guess..

It does not work on a bb1.  I just loaded up a video title on my 5 reel machine and the handle is locked at all times.
