igt game king 044 boot sequence

I recently changed My Game King 039 to 044.I Have 4 of the 1a Memory Boards and 1 2a Flash Memory Board.[gk002496]


the 1a boards boot fine.yet the flash board requests an nic connection.


during cold start if i push button on 044 mother board i get boot menu.


boot menu has 4 options


1. ram operations
2. eeprom operations
3.skip download
4.force download


boot chip is gk0040 created 8/10/06


initial boot requests nic.


i cycled all 4 options and game still wont start


seems game needs something from igts ftp site


any suggestions on game title and how to get past nic issue?

My guess is that GK002496 is either a video lottery game of some type or a WAP that has to talk to a controller.  I couldn't find any information on the software doing a google search other than another member here asking what it was with no reply.  You'll probably have to get it re-flashed to a different game in order to use the board.

IGT  wont give information out to private people.tech did say it is not WAP.

lottery game means central determination.  a server runs the actual game result and you are basically playing a lottery.  the terminal only shows a graphic representation of the results.  There is no actual determination on the terminal itself, unlike class 3 gaming where the result of the game is determined on the machine  you are playing and is independent of any other machine.  if you want to use your cabinet, you will to either need to get the board reflashed for a stand alone game, or buy another flash board with stand alone software.

there is a daughter board to put the 039 stuff on and it mounts on top of the 044 boards

You cannot combine games into a flash board.  Flash boards will get 044 titles.  If you want to run 3902 titles, you need to get a daughtercard and the 3902 software set.
