Printers - ALL / Re: Need Help with Gen2 Netplex on IGT G20« Last post by sftechgeek on Yesterday at 10:20:16 PM »After lots of frustration, I got the printer out and now I'm thinking my issue is probably firmware as no one seems to know the firmware version this printer is on. I didn't realize there is a bracket with a screw in the front that needs removing. However, you have to pop the button self down to access it.
Does anyone have a Gen2 they'd be interested in loaning me to test it out? Or can I send my printer to anyone who can upgrade the firmware? I don't have the energy to figure that part of it out myself. Gen2 Universal. As it is USB I'm assuming, GUU001A508 3

NLG's Wall of Remembrance / RIP - Neal Monaghan« Last post by jay on Yesterday at 09:40:29 PM »My father James Neal Monaghan passed away May 6th and has joined Joey up at the great casino in the sky.
My wife and I honored his passing by hiking the Compostella Santiago, loosely translated this is The way of St. James. Our hike was from Porto Portugal to Santiago Spain and encompassed 185km (123 miles) over 10 days. There is a good movie called "The Way" staring Martin Sheen that is worth a watch, in the movie they started their trek from France which encompasses 800km. You start by collecting a pilgrim's passport in Porto and you collect stamps from every cafe, bar, restaurant, hotel, hostel etc - you need a minimum of two a day and each is unique, signed and dated by the establishment which shows your progress. When you arrive in Santiago the Cathedral there certifies your passport, puts on the final stamp, and issues you a certificate of the Compostella. I had mine made out in his name. My father was not a member of this forum but very much enjoyed my home casino where he could play the dealer. On occasion we got down to Laughlin on a junket together and I took him to meet Joey as my friend and guide to the slot world. I miss them both. 6
IGT I-Game and Game King / Re: IGT Game King Multigame doesn't boot up« Last post by kmarrocco on Yesterday at 09:23:23 PM »Thanks for the reply. I don't think it is the belly switch. I confirmed that it was connected and closed and then I also tried disconnecting the wires from the belly switch and shorting them together. Neither one cleared the error.

IGT S2000 and Vision Games / Re: S2000 Buttons Not Recognizing Every Press and Lights Not Working« Last post by TheEyeInTheSky on Yesterday at 08:58:47 PM »Are all your buttons connected to the same place on all the switches? COM and NO ? See photos and below reply to Stayouttadabunker. Your wiring is all screwed up. Okay, so I reverted all the microswitches, bulbs, and buttons back to the original microswitches, incandescent bulbs, and buttons that came with the machine... then disconnected the wires that connect to the bulbs. All the colored wires are according to the schematic you provided. See photos. I also made sure that I cleaned with soap and water all the button parts to get rid of all gunk. The buttons are behaving MUCH better, but there's still obvious moments where the presses don't register. The Service button is actually usable again, along with the Cash Out button and Bet One Credit button. Spin Reels and Bet Max are okay too. Many back to back presses aren't being recognized though, so it's not perfect. I have not reconnected the bulb wires. All buttons have their bulb wires disconnected. Included in my photos are 2 photos of the microswitch used. The condition on this microswitch is the same on all buttons. Is it possible that these microswitches looking black could be a source of the problem? 9
Other Reel Games / Re: Hopper Agitator« Last post by ldjamin on Yesterday at 08:46:11 PM »Joe,
Thanks so much for the quick response & additional information. As you stated, not much information available and not too many folks that have experience with these machines. I WISH I could get my hands on a schematic as this one has multiple-colored wires . After your response regarding the pinwheel size, I took another look at the mechanics. And I see that the Ike's deposited in the upper part of the machine end up on a "conveyer belt" that drops them back into the hopper. The Susan-B's are deposited in the normal coin-in location drop directly into a collection area in the base cabinet. Just curious........ Does it seem odd that the machine is set up to fill the hopper with Ike dollars (or tokens) and dump the Susan-B size dollars out of play? Also, any thoughts on the handle being able to be pulled "any" time? Can't tell you how much I appreciate your help and I hope I'm not over doing it with the questions? I've had this machine for years and just getting to it after retirement. So please no hurry on your response..... Regards, Lance 10
