Other power box=main power supply box.  I had power before I cleaned them.

I just came back from a garage, where the machine is. I had left it turned on, something I don't usually do and I noticed a red/pink hue on the monitor.   I  moved around the small dials under the screen but still no picture.

Well at least the monitor shows some signs of life. 

Here's an AC wiring diagram.  Check to see if you're getting 120VAC to the power supply.  Be really careful that you don't shock yourself doing it though.  If you have AC in and no DC out then your power supply is dead.

Mine acted up when the humidity rose, easier for power to transfer thru moist components. In the winter it was good better. Until it stopped showing a picture all together. If I could could count the snaps, like two or three, the monitor would flash with each snap, then come on. But multiple snaps like stepping on bubble wrap, nothing would come on.

Voltage going in the Power Supply, none going out.  Guess maybe a PSB?

Yes unfortunately.  Working replacements for these old machines are not real easy to find.  Try contacting member Trisail here, he may be able to repair yours.

PS box has a big fan that probably all clogged up with gunk, struggled to turn, finally giving up and left everything to cook inside.
Capacitors inside would be overstressed out and  finished.

I'd be taking it apart and checking out the guts of the circuit boards inside of the PS box.
It's not that hard to remove the circuit boards outta there intact and send it out for a cap job....be less shipping weight costs too.

2 is IO board?
3 is Mother board.

5 is PS box...has all the holes on the housing case.
Pull that out and look inside for bloated / swollen caps and clogged fan that has too much resistance turning it.

1 is your I/O card tray
2 is your MPU
3 is your Motherboard
4 is your Power Distribution Box
5 is the Power Supply and it does not contain a fan to get clogged with anything.

The power supply bunker referenced WILL NOT fit in your machine.  You can check with Jim though and see if he has one for an older Game King.  As I said they're not real easy to find these days and a newer GK or S2000 power supply WILL NOT fit.

Isnt there 2 different versions of power supply depending on what type fluorescents are used. I vaguely remember seeing that on the old site.

Yes, but that was only on the 13 inch GK's.  The later models of those had solid state ballasts and the AC power input to the power supply was on different pins for some reason.  You could use either the old or new by re-pinning the connector.  AFAIK all the old 19" GK cabinets used the same power supply.

Thanks for the correction. I have a few of these in for repair and i have been trying to research them.
