Since that works it looks like the game software is probably the culprit.  It's hard to say which chip is bad or even what to replace it with since they're not labeled with I000XXXX and G000XXXX numbers.  You may be better off finding an entire software set for it.

Software will.  I'm not sure if they had WOF with a 17" chop top glass set though.  I've only seen it for 19" cabinets.  It's pretty old software, all EPROM based.  As long as the glass is the right size either one will work with your MPU.

i have 4 simms on 3902 board 3 of them have dip switches what i need to find out is their positions and what slots they go in?

If that's supposed to be a working set they've obviously been re-flashed, but whoever did it should have put some new labels on it.  :fryingpan:

Anyways.  The wide one is the CGF simm card, it goes under the under the sound board.  The one with all the DIP switches should be the sound simm card and it goes in the MML2 (multimedia lite 2 sound card).  The other two go in the other simm card slots.  Order and location doesn't matter.

okay got it going and got to setup, powered down replaced 22 with base chip and back to squiggly lines, so i just have to wait for new base chip and software to continue, they were supposed to be here 2 days ago, still not here, thanks to everyone helping me

I would even check all the pins on the MPU. Some times, simply a bent pin on the board can cause these problems. Remove the board, check the pins and see if that's the case.
After that, then go to the individual components (caps, inverter boards, etc.)
