Error 61 on Double Diamond Deluxe

So it looks like you have 2 dead optics.
Concerned that the one that is showing 1 isn’t changing.
Is your stick long enough that it’s reaching the optics ? 
If nothing is changing It still could be that you have a bad harness
In which case clipping q4 isn’t going to be the fix.

On the other hand If your optics are not working (noting the two
Zeros)  Clipping q4 won’t hurt.

The stick I'm using is about 14in long, haha I'd say it's plenty. I went ahead and clipped q4 and there was no change. Would you suggest getting a new optic board? I've meticulously checked all the wires I've seen. Are there specific ones I should look at further?

On some optic boards it’s q3
Again I refer you to a forum search on this.
Cutting q3 and q4 won’t do you any harm at this point.
Just surprised that 21 didn’t go away.
Did you press the reset button a few times to Clear the error ?

I am sitting in an airport lounge in Toronto in transit to Brazil so I can’t refeeence any of my more detailed notes.  I am hopping some of the more qualified experts can chime in here.
