How to connect the "Input meter"?
« on: April 29, 2015, 10:44:11 AM »
Hi!
I bought a new machine called Bally Mustang. After a lot of work does it work properly now. But the "input-meter" dont registrate how many coins who are played. I change to one I now works, but no reaction. Do someone know to what I chall connect the 2 wires?
(Sorry about my poor English!)

I think it's the same connection for all the bally em. I now saw the wiring diagram that should be connected in parallel with the handle release sw. Thanks anyway!
It's a really fun machine, so if you want I can put some pictures anyway. :-)

Hi JanGbg,
On page 18 of your Bally EM manual you can see a bit of the schematic also for the coin in meter.
Often the power for the meters run through the Door Interlock switch, which is a little push button switch in the lower right corner of your machine when you open the door.  It is usually next to your coin drop tube which goes to the cashbox.
Just try to trace out the wire that you had originally to the non working meter.
Hope that helps.

don't trust the colors on the wires I have 20 old machines I don't think two of them have the same color as going to the coin in meter
