bb1 backplane board

I have a BB1 that had a problem with the bill acceptor. Replaced the backplane board and now it is working fine. Does anyone know what component needs to be replaced on the backplane board to get it working.

Was the BV working then the Backplane go out, or did the BV never work

There are jumpers on the top left corner of the Backpkane that are used for setting the BV communication between RS232 or TTL (Netplex)

The bv was working fine, then started rejecting bills, I took it out and then put it back in, then nothing. Swapped over the backplane board and it is working fine. All jumpers are correct.
