New 044 Game King

Hello all.


I think I saw a post recently on how to set game king machine to stop looking for Host system??  My game has a ticket printer (non tito) but has the asterisks flashing in the player tracking window and I had to take out the top bulb in the candle due to the constant flashing.......


Can this be done without a complete clear of the game (SuperStar Poker)??

Setting your machine up with TITO would get that light to stop flashing.  Otherwise, yep, take the bulb out.

Not that I'm aware of Steve.  This was something I brought up years ago on the old forum with Game King 5.3.  Those are the only options that I know of.

As for the asterisks in the player tracking window you can unplug that as well a good refurbisher would have removed the casino tracking system. Make shore you unplug the machine first those things usually stay on even when the power switch is off.

Somebody once told me to put a jumper in the motherboard  2 pin connector that is right in the top center.  My cabinet has this jumper, and even before TITO I don't remember the candle flashing.

The jumper on the motherboard is a logic door bypass.  Without it you will get a "door open L" error.

There's a member, maybe foster, who had a program to make the player tracking useable. It seems you could insert a player card and add credits and other things. I believe the info was on the old site

Yeah, it really isn't that difficult to set up and the parts are pretty cheap.

Here's a demo of what it looks like in action.  You can use your player's club card as well if it's set up for it.  ;)
