I am in need of a Clear card(s) for the Bally S9000 series machine... The Game is "pair Em Up," Stars and Bars. The AVOS is 00000317-02

The clear card depends on the BIOS that your machine has.  Post the bios that is in your machine and someone will be able to tell you what clear card you need.  Also your OS can also give a clue as to what you may need.

Thank you for your reply. The machine is my first Bally... The Game is "pair Em Up," Stars and Bars. The AVOS is 00000317-02. I will change my classified to reflect this information and hope it is enough. I downloaded the manual so that I can locate the BIOS if the aforementioned isn't enough information.

We need to know your BIOS number.


With the game loaded, enter service mode (white button on MPU) or attendant key


Go to DIAGNOSTICS > VERSION INFORMATION


Look at the last entry. Should say BIOS VERSION. We need that number so we can tell you the correct Clear card. Game doesn't matter.

Provided that your OS card is not mislabeled, you will need a clear 312 card and you probably have an 807 bios.

I'm pretty sure the 317 os is only compatible with the 807 bios. The 312 clear should do the trick as Rick stated. Do yourself a favor and buy a set of 3 (312,320 and 335) so you'll have them for future os and bios changes.

Thanks for the heads up. It did not show up today at the house. I did not check our mailbox down the street so it may be in there. Lately ups and others are subing out to the post office for delivery of small items. I will check in the morning...
