I'm thinking of getting a video poker machine of some type and was looking for background info on the various models available. I'm concerned about parts availability on obscure machines so I'm only interested in Bally or IGT models. I only need poker capability as I have plenty of slots already so if I bought a modern machine like a Game King or a Game Maker, the slots would not be a deciding factor. I am okay with coin in/out, coin in/out and bill accepting, or coinless; it's not important. Same thing with CRT vs LCD or touch screen, more modern would be nice but an old school machine would work as well. I'm looking for the sweet spot between something really old and cheap that's a maintenance nightmare and something relatively new and reliable but expensive. Game Kings are readily available in my area but are more than I want to spend, Game Makers come up and seem to be less expensive, and older Bally and IGT games of unknown model and working condition, are pretty common.
What's a reliable, relatively inexpensive video poker machine?
