I recently got my first machine a players choice machine. The machine is stuck looking for a progressive link and I don't know how to get it out. Any help is appreciated.

I think it's a player's edge, but I've never seen one with the keyboard input, only a light pen. I'll wait for someone who can confirm and then move it to the right place.

The Players Edge keno games I have seen used a light pen.
The light pen circuit is seen on every players edge plus board.
That game looks like the American Coin game I worked on last month.
The front keypad on the one I worked on had conductive traces to the switches and the ink had crumbled and was not making some connections to some of the "buttons".

The cabinet looks like an IGT and the glass says (C) IGT. Atldal can you post a couple of pictures of the interior of the machine and one of the MPU board too?

It's a Player's Edge + machine, I just haven't seen one laid out quite like that. On the one's I've seen the MPU board is above the monitor. The MPU board is a "superboard", but interestingly your keno apparently doesn't require a data prom. I'll move this to the PE+ section and hopefully someone smarter than me can help you get it working.

Our casinos in Minnesota years ago had these keno machines with the keyboard instead of the light pen.

Your Self Test button is on the front of the MPU enclosure, as seen in the attached picture.

I am able to get into the basic set up menu, but need to figure out the reset chip I need to get into the main menu to get rid of the progressive link I think?

I have used that reset button to get into the menu to adjust sound etc, but there is no place for setting the progressive setting.

You want to go slowly through the self test pages and double check that? There really isn't any other place the setting could be.
