i think the game i have is a s or a s plus its a igt red white and blue deluxe.the game tosses no codes but willnt accept coin.i can coin it up by hitting the white button on the optic board is this what i need.thats what i think i do.thanks .p.s i did try cleaning the eyes on the board no help. :Scratch-Head:

If coins are being rejected to the tray, the problem is in the coin comparator, not the optics.  The coins aren't ever reaching the optics if they're being rejected to the tray.

Try adjusting the sensitivity so that the comparator is less likely to reject coins.  See the instructions I posted in this post for information on how to adjust the comparator.

Yes, the sensitivity control should be turned fully counterclockwise.

If that doesn't work check the comparator connector for a loose wire.

Also unplugging and plugging back in this connector a couple of times fixes the problem sometimes.

If none of those fixes it you may need to have your comparator fixed.
Let them that don't want any, have memories of not getting any.

crank counter clockwise all the way then see if accepts if so then a bit at a time turn clockwise till no accept then crank back a bit should be good to go .
If comp is still not accepting replace the large capacitor in the  coin mech comparitor
