1999 Sizzling 7 IGT slot machine can't get it to work.

I just bought a 1999 Sizzling 7 slot machine at an auction and it only came with one key. I can insert it in the front and turn counterclockwise and it will change the red flashing miners that indicate winner paid, credits, and coins played. I can get it to a place where it allows the reels to spin right to left after pressing spin reels about 5 times. I'm totally new to this any help would be greatly appreciated! I am in Marietta Ohio if anyone is local and could help. Thanks

You say it doesn't work so we need a little more info to help you. When you turn the game on what does it do? What's not working? Are there any numbers/messages showing in any of the display windows? And last but not least, can you post a couple pictures of the front and inside of the machine?

It is a 25 cent machine also if this helps.

When plugged in it flashes these 2 back and forth.

The 3300 indicates "Hopper Empty". The machine is trying to pay out someone's winnings and does not have sufficient coins in the hopper to do so. To clear this error, dump 20-30 quarters in the black hopper bowl inside the machine.


Oh, does the key you have let you get inside the machine (the top will hinge up like a car hood)? Is the key a barrel style key or a little brass key?

I have two keys and they are both just metal keys. The one that let's me in the machine is broken, so you think it can be as easy as just allowing the machine to pay out once I get into it and it should be good then?

Letting the hopper finish the payout should settle that issue. Whether it works after that or not remains to be seen

Possibly, but not likely. New locks are usually $10-15

CH751 keys are available on ebay for like 2 bucks.

Or, if you are impatient...like us....just drill it and replace the lock later.....Sorry, but I do NOT like to wait. Either way, your game is more than likely working within a week or so, if no other issues arise.

Went to my local locksmith today and he cut me a brand new 751 key because it is so common with RVs and many other locks for $2. Came home opened my machine up and after looking everything over for a while held down the reset button for a few seconds after filling the hopper. Shut the top and it paid out a few coins and works good as new! Thanks everyone!

What does a machine like this usually cost? It came from a casino called club greektown which I looked up online and it is in Detriot Michigan. It is a sizzling 7s 1999 machine. Just wondering if I got a good deal on it for the price it sold for.

How much did you pay for it?

Oh... a warning... the large door just below the hatch. It opens from a lock on the inside. Be careful if you open it! The door will fall straight down and try to break you toe! Use your knees to hold if if you ever have to open that door.

Price is really dependent on your area and how many slot machines are around. While the model you have, a slant top/sit down type is not the most desirable model (the upright models are more popular), I would say you would probably be looking at $300-500.
