Hi, hope this helps. Make sure the machine is powered off and remove the CPU board from the card cage. Remove the U3 eprom from the board and replace with the clear chip. Make sure it is the right denomination clearchip and the notch of the eprom is facing to the right. Reseat the CPU in the card cage and turn the power on. The machine should bong one time and a series of numbers should populate the credit, win and coins played display. Turn machine back off and remove the CPU board again and replace the clear chip with the U3 eprom and make sure the notch is facing the right. Reseat the CPU in the card cage and power the machine on. The machine should load and “clr” should display on the credit display. Press the red diagnostic button on the card cage until it removes the clr from the display and the reels initiate the test spin and the machine should be ready to play. Hope this helps.

Ok that worked to clear machine . I have a bigger problem now. Inside the Williams machine is a silver box on the left side that has stopped working. It is the one that turns on the machine. I checked the fuse and it is good but the game won’t turn on. Does anyone sell this on NLG.  THIS IS A WILLIAMS DOTMATION SLOT 40. Also need an upper power supply for the dotmation board. Ps none of the lights work . I had to plug the main power in separate from that silver box to get the machine to power up. That is why I think that box is bad. I think this is the power distribution box.

That is the same fuse that he told you to check last week in the other thread.  He told you to open the box and take out the old power supply (4 screws) if it was in there.  Underneath that PS is the power distribution and there are 1 or 2 (cant remember off hand) fuses located on that board.  Sounds like that is where your problem was based on what you posted, and that was the fix that Tollguy316 gave you..  Read back on your other thread.   Reply # 4 in this thread:  http://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=24122.0
