GKB00036 to a 044 DEV BOOT

Hello NLG!

I hope this is the place to ask for support, my ultimate X poker is dated 12/2003 and I had the CRT upgraded to a quality flat screen when I got it about seven years ago when it worked great.
Now the only thing my screen shows is a GK SHA failure check and replace flash.
It has not been booting for a couple years now and I decided to get it going a few days ago, I tested the battery and it was dead so I replaced it and also pulled the GKB00036 chip and clean the pins to no avail.
I spoke to a nice gentleman on the phone from NLG who said to register here and ask about a replacement 044 DEV boot chip, which was suggested to most likely resolve my issue.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated at this point, the GPU cooling fan was screaming, so I pulled it out and ordered a new one so it should be ready if I can solve the big issue.
