S2000 cleopatra
What is the digital board called
That displays the number of coins played on
9 line cleopatra
Machine was in garage for awhile and is now not working
Machine works and plays but display that flases which lines hit is burnt out

it is back to back on another  board not sure which is bad but when fired her up
yesterday could smell electrical and shut down to look for causes
saw nothing obvious so turned on again to play which it does play but
noticed display out .  So question is what is more likely the culprit the display or the Board.
do notice slight browning on the edge of display which leads me to think that is bad.
would post pic but having no luck getting pics to 1 kb

also wondering the likelyhood of something else being the cause
machine has a coin in error if disconnnected so Im assuming the board is probably fine

Are you talking about the I/O cards on the inner door panel? At this point pics would help tremendously. Any photo editor should allow you to reduce the file size of the image. Coin in or out error is likey a bad I/O.

ok Thanks to RB Ive got a new display coming but a bigger question is what possibly could be a reason for the one I had to cook without any previous problems on Machine Play. Something could be wrong I assume and could cook the replacement as well. 
Any Ideas to possible problems to look for.  Machine is playing fine except for the digital readout of value and lines won
like I previously stated turned on Machine after sitting for a few months and instantly smelled electrical. turns out the display was out and thats where the smell is emitting from
