Game Plan Inc model 750

I am looking at a Game Plan Inc model 750. What, if any, info can anyone tell me?  Seller says it turns on but that's about it. Also says needs work.  Should I just walk away or run!!!

Looks like an older Bally really...or Aristocrat....never seen one of these.

Especially the hopper and glass look.
 
Maybe Bally took their ideas from this Game Plan company back in the beginning?

Sure looks familiar!

Is there a date on a ID tag on the side of the cabinet?

RAZ410 is an Bally expert...he might know the history?
I think Bally bought this company out to get in the slot biz because there's a lot of similarity between this machine and the Bally EM's.

This is not a Bally. The reels are motor driven. The cut strips on the reel edges are a binary pattern sensed by opto that tell the controllers the numerical position of the reels. The hopper is not a Bally, neither is the coin tray. The door looks a lot like a Bally but the body does not - Bally cabinets were lined with metal. Also the hinges are wrong. And the graphics are seriously amateur.

I'm stepping in here a bit late, but I should warn the potential buyer that Game Plan (pinball machines) are notorious for battery leakage. So, check the logic board for leakage! I may have a NVRAM adapter for the CMOS RAM (works for their pinball games), but would need to see photos of the MPU board...John :-#)#
