S+ 5 line lamp panel for reel glass
« on: January 14, 2020, 07:45:11 AM »
Need 3 or 4 of these.  See the picture,  I didn't realize that there were two different sizes, one for the S-2000 and one for the S+.  I need the larger one for the S+ machine. Thanks to RB for the picture.

Thanks,

Jim

In a pinch, I made a 5-line lightbox once, about 10 yrs ago for an S+, using plastic ice cube trays... :propeller:
I still have it!  :rotfl:

You can use a 5 line light box with a 3 line game.
Only the lights that need to light up... light up.
So a 5 line box  gives you the flexibility to use it with either 3 line or 5 line games.
If you can't afford to lose you can't afford to win.

I think using a 5L box with a 3L glass would look a bit off with either s+ or s2000 boxes.
Here is a pic of both for each.  Left two are for s+, right two are for s2000. 5L windows are a lot smaller. I will try a 5L s+ box in a 3L s+ game and see how it looks.

I don't have any S2000

No...there's molded plastic clips that attach to holes in the door.

The 5 line lite box will not fit unless you alter it or have the short display panel. Here you can also see bracket without screw holes.

ok, I have a s2000 one being shipped, I am thinking it's going to be too short. I have an S-plus that's a 5 line red, white and blue with bigger squares.

Yes it will be too short.  S+ is almost twice as long.  You need the short display panel for the s+ 5 lite box to fit, but the 3 lite box will fit with the long display panel.

here is another pic of the bracket.
