Ballys Error Code.

Hello, I have a chance on getting a machine from a friend thats in great condition but has an error code of "7FFF". He doesn't have time to figure it out and wants it gone, so before I punish myself with another Ballys I figured I'd ask the experts. The machine MOD# S63U3CB00 if that means anything, and manufactured in 02. So I don't want to cart this away and bother everyone with 20 questions if I can't figure it out. He did say it worked fine until he moved it and now it lights up but that's it. Thanks

It's a S6000.  I  think you can get it working easily.  The MPU might not be seated all the way in. Or maybe the reel glass shifted and is covering the LEDs partially and not showing the numbers properly.

Letting everyone know it's fixed! Replaced the battery that's why it had the 7FFF code. Also got 2 Eprom clear chips for 16 bucks, a U28 and U43 cleared the machine, then replaced the clear chips with the original chips. Followed the clearing procedure and the machine is up and running perfect.
