[/size]I'm working from memory here, no longer have machines. There are sooooo many things that can cause these issues!
[/size]Could be bad 7-seg
[/size]Could be bad mpu board. [/size]i.c.'s on board could be issue.
Eproms should be ok, they have a check at startup for bad code.
Assuming 7-seq is OK, and board OK, and power supply OK, then the wiring would have to be the issue. My two areas of concern I've seen before; The big black plug connecting door to machine, (pins pushed down)AND, I've seen coins or screws fallen behind board at the edge connectors causing a short. Won't hurt to pull the board and then unscrew the board case frame from the backwall and see if anything there.
After that, it would have to be trial and error with replacing board, then 7-seg, to find the issue.
