Considering buying a BB2 machine....
« on: February 16, 2019, 08:01:39 AM »
Hello,

Upon doing research about Williams slot machines, a lot of the research links me to this forum regarding many questions or issues other people have had.  So I registered here to ask a question.  Forgive me if this is in the wrong area to post this question.

I am considering purchasing a BB1 or BB2, preferably a 2.  But upon reading some posts and responses, some people are saying they are dumping their BB2’s and those posts were from late 2017.  Considering its 2019, should I even be considering buying one?  From what I have seen, they are running minimum $1600 for a BB2.  Just looking for a good machine that I could get a few different themed games and change it up every once in awhile.

Thanks!

Thats about the going rate for a bb2.They are really nice machines and there are some really fun bb2 games to play on them.
If you get tired of your bb2 you can always convert it to a bb3 easily.Just change the cpu,get a wiring harness and a emotive controller.

Ok thanks.  The cost isn’t the issue, I just don’t want to spend that kind of money on a machine if it’s on its way to being obsolete.

Thanks!

Youre welcome.
Forgot to mention...BB2 is probably the most versatile. You can also change the cpu and run bb1 games also.

Thanks zitzapr for the referral.  Is it pretty easy to swap out/install the new games?  I’ve talked to the people Slots Unlimited, they are also in Ohio.  They are on the higher side of the scale but offer a full 1 year warranty.  I’m in Illinois so trying to find a place somewhat near to me.  I’ll check out Bettor Slots.  Thanks!

Go on UTube and type bb2 clear ram and you'll see Bettor Slots videos on both procedures. Excellent step by step instructions. Very easy to learn. Decide if you want in your machine Tito.Find out if it is with OLED or standard buttons. Some games only play with certain button types. I have Tito on both of my machines and love it. Some of the games that are great- Time Machine, Top Gun, Lil Red, Winning Bid 2 Wizard of OZ, Star Trek , I Love Lucy. If you want my list let me know glad to send it to you. All can be seen play on uTube.

What part of Illinois? I'm an hour from Chicago.- I occasionally sell them on NLG here for about $1000 with a couple games and/or TITO installed when I have extra machines. (pics are of the past 2 I sold to members here.)

zitzapr....Thanks for the information.  Ive read about the tito.  Why would you need the ticket in ticket out system?  Are these machines set up for free play when purchased?

I'll PM you. - TITO is just cool to have. You can print and use tickets from any machine that has tito, like you would do at a casino. With TITO you can use cash, tickets or have a credit amount added to the machine with the press of a button.
