IGT S2000 change out button panel
« on: June 23, 2019, 11:09:46 AM »
Hi, I have a IGT S2000 Triple Double Diamond Free Games. It was a 20 line .01 game but want to switch it to a 1 line .25 game. I was told I could change out the ten button panel to a six button panel.

                         Does anyone know how???

Remove all the button deck screws, glass, reels & reel deck, 10-button reel driver board , I/O boards & harnesses.
You will have to have correct (see all stuff above) 3-reel parts to complete swap.
It would be easier just to go find another machine...  :rotfl:

Going to need to change to a different game, glass, reel strips, and SB that is 9 credits or less, or change to a 10 button deck.

Sounds like it's wired wrong. Try the connections in the picture. if that doesn't work you might need 2 802 cards.

Your SB shows as being 200 credit.  20 lines, bet 10 times each line. You will need to do a repeat bet instead of max bet.  Maybe there is a smaller credit SB out there somewhere??

Game is Triple Double Diamond with free games.  Is that right?

Does this game use an R board?  Do you have a pic of the MPU?

First of all, a 200 credit max bet machine should be coinless & not token in/out. You can change the denom with a key chip. Player denom can not be set lower than the accounting denom. If you need to change the accounting denom to say 1c or 5c, you will need to clear it first. All other denom settings can be changed just by key chipping it (zero credits). I'm almost positive you have an R board game or RG board in this case. You need RBK00001 to perform clear & or key operations. Post some pictures as Mark suggested. It really helps us help you.
