G20 Cashbox Open Wiring

I have a G20 which is giving me a Cash Box Door Open error.  Someone has removed the side of the validator frame where the lock was located and the only thing showing is the cash box opening mechanism.  2 wires remain dangling from the frame.  What do I need to wire to eliminate the error.  I dont have any of the parts that were removed.  Take a look at the pic showing the validator frame.   Thanks  TJ

There's nothing connected to the 3 pin connector on mine.  Here's a photo of the set of two switches that are above my validator door.

Rick  What do the two sets of wires connected to that are shown in the one photo (Cash Box 1) I guess my question is what do.the switch wires connect to.  Thanks

The blue green ends up on a 2 pin micro fit jr connector that is unplugged, and the red and green wire are connected to a matching red and green wire harness.

Hi,
So I have a similar problem.  New to AVP/g20,  Cash Box Door Open message will not go away.   I tried shorting the red/green wires with no luck.   Thought maybe one of the wires was broken on the way to the backplane,  traced the wires all the way to the backplane plug, ran a continuity test on the wires and they are fine.

Is the backplane to blame for this?   Does this have anything to do with Telltale battery low?

Turned out to be the cashbox itself.   The optics were dirty inside the cashbox and the MEI would not 'see' that the box was 'there' or had been inserted.
