what happens to the 777 rows if you get a 777?

you can manually activate one of the top/center/bottom jackpot relays to see.

some 831's had a jackpot motor unit that caused the perimeter lights to flash in sequence.  The bell rang when the "jackpot" panel was lit.

given you have five arrows on the backglass, maybe it's supposed to do that.  What color wires are cut in the top compartment and what color wires are on the arrow lights?

typical circuit had orange and black/green wires on the jackpot motor and mostly a [brown/white/yellow/blue]-red wire on one side of the arrow lamps.  Other side of the arrow lights all have a solid blue (maybe bare) wire on them.

Yes these are the colors I have cut. 2 orange and a black/green. The black green is what is activating the lights now on a jackpot. So I’m guessing the relay and flasher bulbs are not intended for this set up?

sounds like you are missing at least the jackpot motor, and maybe the entire unit.

games that used the jackpot motor did not use the flasher relay.

if all your perimeter lights turn on, then someone has rewired some things.  The lamps needed separate wires to each pair so they could be turned on/off.  Pair = the same position on the left/right of the glass.

got pictures of your entire top compartment? ... the wiring on the lamp sockets and the entire insert board would be ideal.

I'm guessing the motor games are much less common.  May be similar to the flasher motor used on model 931 (circus) and like games.

a schem for one is the 831-ZZSH - you can find that on https://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/

Yes I connected the wires myself to get the lights to at least work. If I simply unsolder them they would be as they where when I got it. Looks like a spot where something was once mounted right where all the wires where sitting lose.
