WHERE is NLG member SolidSilver???

Does anyone know the whereabouts of NLG member SolidSilver???
He's missing.
He had been and contributing very regularly to the site, especially on the CEI video poker machines. He posted on numerous other topics and was VERY helpful with his knowledge here. I was corresponding with him regularly (wine, women, slots, etc) and suddenly he stopped replying and stopped posting. I'm concerned for him.
Has ANYONE heard from him, or does anyone know how to get in touch with him to check on his well being.
SOMEONE must have had contact with him!
If someone did recently, can you at least give the courtesy to REPLY here?

Can ANYONE reply here? I'm sure a lot of you messaged him or replied or at least read his posts. He was a VALUABLE newer member here on NLG. And, unlike me, he was VERY educated in electronics.

We do...I agree. I don't believe it will happen, and it's partly our own fault I think. NLG has provided SO MUCH info (much of it repeated several times over the years), many people can find the answer they need without posting. We ARE the Google of certain platforms (i.e., S+ and S2000). This reduces the number of new members we get, and in turn, limits our knowledge base from expanding, as seasoned members don't need to chime in as often. We have also hit some snags with the new site and felt some frustration with well intending members mis-guiding others, "reinventing the wheel", and taking the LONG way to finding the real issue.


When I first started with slots and parts, I would read some posts and wouldn't understand them due to all of the terminology, etc. It was like a foreign language!! In order to help myself and customers (and Darrell if needed), I needed to learn...quickly...So, if I was reading a thread on bill validators, and didn't understand it 100%, I would go to the BV forum, and would read EVERY post until I understood. Believe me, this filled my head with all sorts of random (and lots of useless), but then, the dots started to connect. 


We will rebound once the next platform (BBs, Alphas, AVPs, etc) hits the secondary market in full force and warranties start to run out (if bought from a dealer) and components start to fail.

Speaking of Nlg members I need to check on Eric-Forehouse -last on here sept.7th.  Have boxes packed for him waiting to be shipped!.  He has paid for them.  Was just waiting on shipping back then.  Guess I will try and call and see.  I know calif. Has been thru a lot in last couple months and now they banned plastic bags etc. -- :Professor:  .

And here's a picture of Kirks next machine, Catch A Wave. The dick head loaned me the machine about 3 years ago and he now thinks it's time for me to return it. I think he's still pissed off at me cause last time I saw him I tried to get his Wife to run off with me, but no She wanted to go to Hawaii.

Speaking of good... GOOD NEWS TO REPORT.
Jim aka SolidSilver has been found.  :applause: I am VERY HAPPY to report that I just had a nice conversation with him on the phone. He's just had no time due to a number of issues, but is hoping to return to NLG eventually. I told him his own thread was hijacked and that got a nice laugh out of him. I think, in the short time he was her, he contributed a vast amount of knowledge to help people on this forum. Just look up his posts and you will see. I hope everyone will welcome him back.
