IGT Hopperless Operation

I have a customer that has an S+ without a hopper or ticket printer.  It is a auto dealership that uses it for promotions and cannot pay out.  Apparently it was set up not to pay, but I can't figure out how this was done.  Now all I get is 3200 error and the only way I can clear it is with a RAM clear, but the first time anyone hits a big winner it locks up.  The machine has a hopper with no wiring or motor or coin switch.

Is the hopper limit set to zero? That eliminates the hopper from game play and sets a hand pay for payouts. All you have to do is turn the reset key.

If it still has the machine side hopper: facing the hopper plug jumper the upper right pin to the middle left pin this makes the game think there is a hopper connected and the coin out optics are not blocked by a stuck coin.

Opening and closing the door will clear any coin out tilt. If the hopper is trying to pay out you will have to clear the game to reset that error.

Then set the hopper limit to zero.
