S2000 CLEAR RAM WORKING FUNNY
« on: November 30, 2015, 08:17:57 PM »
Hi everyone , I have s2000 triple diamond multi nomination with five line payout , after I clear ram the machine and set it up (changed the battery )the machine boots up then on the screen start to act funny , it says pay 9 lines and ready to play then it suddenly flash ( see attendant ) for split second and it start to shoe again 9 line pays and it flashes (see attendant) again , after I close the door to reset , the first two reels start to spin back word and the 3rd one goes crazy and start to spin slowly and machine goes in tilt, if I open the door and close it  will let me play one time but the last wheel starts to back spin slowly and the machine goes to tilt, any ideas guys, do I have bad board? thanks for any input

My first thought would be to check for bent pins on the MPU board with the weird actions as you mention.

Was the machine working before or is it a new machine? If its a new machine and there are no bent pins I would think it is a bad mpu.

You might also try re seating the reels. Or switch the reel that spins differently and see if that reel still spins differently in another spot. Also check to see if your board has a green battery on it. If you do and it is corroded it could be causing random door open m that can cause a general reel tilt. When you re seat the reals make shore the plug behind the reels is snapped fully into the reel shelf.

You would do best to eliminate that green 3 cell battery. They leak over time and can ruin the board. Depending on which board version you have you can either just remove it or a small modification may be necessary for the board to work after removal, but in either case you are better off with it gone.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. But you may want to remove the green battery, it will leak in time.
